I gave an oral presentation of my research on heat stress titled “Comparison between OSHA-NIOSH Heat Safety Tool App and WBGT Monitor to Assess Heat Stress Risk in Agriculture” at the virtual 1st Quarterly Meeting 2022 of the North Central Environmental Health District (NCEHD) on March 24, 2022. It was my pleasure to join my ECU Environmental Health faculty colleague, Dr. Stephanie Richards, and other environmental health professionals from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) in presenting essential information on environmental health issues.
The NCEHD is an educational district of the Environmental Health Section of the North Carolina Public Health Association (NCPHA). It is an association of Environmental Health Specialists, Environmental Health Specialist Interns, Soil Scientists, and others and is organized and operated to promote greater public health benefits through good environmental practices in North Carolina, while building sustainable partnerships outside of the State.
