It was my pleasure to give a research presentation today during the 2025 AIHA Connect held from May 19-21, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. My poster presentation was titled, “Assessing Occupational Noise Exposures during National Hockey League Games”. The study presented in the poster was derived from the thesis project of MS Environmental Health alumna, Samantha Curtis. This study investigated the occupational noise exposure of ushers working during hockey home games of the Carolina Hurricanes in eastern North Carolina.
