My previously published journal article titled “Assessment of occupational exposure to heat stress and solar ultraviolet radiation among groundskeepers in an eastern North Carolina university setting” was selected as one of the Editor’s Choice to be included in the Heat Stress Article Collection as a virtual issue in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (JOEH) on the topic of heat stress. The virtual issue includes articles on thermoregulatory responses, comparison of NOAA Heat Index to WBGT measurements, risk factors of worker age, other clothing types, air velocity, and industry-specific case studies relevant to helping occupational hygienists protect workers this summer. The Editor’s Choice is made possible through a collaborative partnership between Taylor & Francis Group, the American Industrial Hygiene Association® and the American Conference of Governmental Hygienists®.
