Project’s Connection to Professional Goals & Objectives
This project is directly connected to my professional goals. I recognize a need to drastically revise the Latin curriculum, an enormous undertaking. Creating the project gave me a clearer sense of what the revised course would look like, from the organization to the presentation of instruction. It also made me more familiar with the book I am interested in adopting for the courses, and began to ease my concerns that the book may be too juvenile.
I intend to apply for a teaching grant for Summer 2025 to work on completing the Latin 1 and 2 courses to implement in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
