Past students

Between 2003 and 2023, I have chaired 47 completed graduate theses. These have all been predominantly in the MA in Maritime Studies program of East Carolina University, though I have also chaired a thesis committee within the Masters of Sustainable Tourism program (now defunct), and a PhD dissertation committee within the Coastal Resources Management program (now called a PhD in Integrated Coastal Sciences). As of 2022, I am chairing an additional 8 thesis or dissertation committees (MA in Maritime Studies and ICS PhD). I have also served on an additional 58 graduate committees (honors, Masters, Doctoral) at a range of institutions (East Carolina University, UNC Chapel Hill, Flinders University, University of New England [Armidale, NSW], and La Trobe University).
